Shift Supervisor

assists clients and guests, ensuring that their requests are met. The supervisor coordinates non‑clinical needs, greets guests, maintains security, and manages the client‑care team. They orient clients to the program, engage clients in services, protect client rights, promote safety, and clarify facility rules. Location

Bronx, NY 10462 Responsibilities

The Shift Supervisor oversees all front‑desk staff activities, ensuring adherence to policy, proper documentation, and building safety. They schedule and conduct shift rounds, coach staff on client participation, manage electronic record entries, provide emergency responses (including crisis management, first aid, CPR, and fire response), and complete incident reports per program and funder guidelines. Minimum Qualifications

High school degree or GED preferred, with at least one year of relevant experience. Valid state driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets agency policy preferred. Ability to communicate professionally (oral and written) with Spanish‑speaking clients preferred. Certifications (required within 90 days of hire – VOA will cover the cost)
