This position is responsible for supporting the accounts payable function by ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments. The role offers flexibility within standard business hours and is ideal for individuals seeking a part‑time schedule. This position will pay between $20 and $23/hr.
Responsibilities
Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies
Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts
Prepare and execute weekly check runs and electronic payments
Maintain vendor files and respond to inquiries regarding payments and account status
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and assist with month‑end closing
Monitor and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Support the finance team with additional administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills and a customer‑service mindset
This is a part‑time position with flexible hours within the 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM window, Monday through Friday
