What You’ll Do

Maintain, revise, and develop CRM policies, programs, processes, and control room procedures tailored to the needs of multiple regulated control centers.

Ensure CRM documentation aligns with PHMSA requirements, API recommended practices (e.g., API RP 1168, 1165, 1175), and company standards.

Build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives, including standardizing processes where feasible while accommodating operational differences.

Maintain documentation libraries, version control, and change‑management workflows.

Monitor regulatory updates and industry best practices to ensure CRM programs remain current and compliant.

Support internal and external audits, including PHMSA inspections, by preparing documentation, coordinating responses, and tracking corrective actions.

Conduct periodic program assessments to verify compliance with CRM elements such as fatigue management, alarm management, training, shift handover, and controller qualification.

Provide guidance and training to operations personnel, controllers, supervisors, and management on CRM requirements and policy updates.

Facilitate workshops or working groups to gather feedback and ensure alignment between control centers.

Act as a subject‑matter expert on CRM requirements and serve as a key resource during procedural changes or operational transitions.

Monitor CRM program performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvements.

Support the implementation and documentation of lessons learned, incident investigations, and corrective actions related to control room activities.

Develop or refine tools, templates, and reporting processes that improve CRM documentation quality and consistency across both control centers.

What You’ll Bring – Required

Legally authorized to work in the United States

High school diploma or GED equivalent

3 or more years of experience in pipeline operations, compliance, control room management, or another related regulatory environment

Working knowledge of PHMSA pipeline safety regulations (Parts 192/195) and CRM requirements

Experience drafting technical policies and/or operational procedures

What Makes You Stand Out – Preferred

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Operations Management, Safety, Compliance, or a related field

Experience working directly with pipeline control centers, controllers, or SCADA systems

Experience supporting regulatory audits or control room assessments

Working knowledge of document control and/or compliance software systems

Working knowledge of API RP 1165 (SCADA Display Design), 1167 (Alarm Management), 1168 (Control Room Management), and 1175 (Pipeline Leak Detection)

Compensation Range This position has a base salary range of $124,200 - $151,800.
