Job Description AstheMaintenanceTechnicianyour chief responsibility will be to preserve the excellent condition and operational readiness of our facility.This willinclude:
Conduct diagnostic assessments,scheduling,and performing repairs and maintenance on all plant equipment.
Developpreventative maintenance procedures
Documentcompleted work orders andperform otherassignments to ensure a safe, clean healthy and efficient facility.
Thisis a physically active role requiring:
Ability to maneuver around heavy equipment including bending, climbing, crawling, manual dexterity Frequently lifting and carrying objects weighing approximately 40 pounds.
If you are a “Jackor Jillof all trades” with a strong knowledge ofindustrialelectric,pump repair, forkliftrepairs,and plumbing,this position would be a perfect fit for you!
Qualifications Basic Requirement:
High schooldiploma or GED,
Mechanically inclined, willingness to learn.
By law, you must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Requirements:
Associate degreefromatwo-year college or technical schoolinarelatedfield
Minimum 2 years ofmaintenancework experience including pumps, gear boxesand loader machinery.
Knowledgeofhazardousmaterialhandlingand OSHA training.
As you will interact withinternal staff,ability to communicate in Englishisimportant.
The successful candidate will be required to pass a physical, drug test and DEA background check.
