Student Worker - University Financial Aid- Loan Repayment Support (FWS)

Grand Canyon University is seeking a Loan Repayment Advisor to support the mission of Grand Canyon University through GCU’s University Financial Aid department.**Position Summary/Purpose:** The purpose of the position is to assist in lowering the University’s Cohort Default Rate.**Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities/Essential Functions:** Utilize critical thinking skills to counsel students regarding the successful repayment of their federal student loans**Qualifications:** * Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types* Willingness to work during breaks a plus* Hours of Operation are Monday – Friday: 8:00am-5:00pm, Arizona Time* The position is remote at your own location and must be within 30 miles of campus* Phoenix locals preferredStrong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening Ability to successfully multi-task while navigating multiple systems Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel**Experience/Education:** Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy.
