Job Overview Trucent, Inc. is a global leader in fluid recovery and regeneration solutions. In 2020 we created a new division, Trucent Renewable Chemicals, which specializes in extracting specialty chemical compounds, amino acids, and fatty acids from agricultural oils such as corn, soy, and other vegetable oils.

We are currently looking for a Night Shift Operator to support our Renewable Chemical Plant in Van Wert, Ohio. Responsibilities include operating all equipment and process controls for mixing and blending liquid and dry materials according to customer specifications. The position offers a starting pay of $20–$22 per hour, full benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision), and 3 weeks of vacation. Work hours are 12‑hour shifts, 6:00 pm–6:00 am. Training will be conducted on the day shift (6:00 am–6:00 pm) before moving to night shift. The current shift schedule is as follows:

First week: 4 days on (Mon‑Thu)

Then 6 days off (Fri‑Sun)

Second week: 3 days (Thu‑Sat)

Third week: 3 days (Thu‑Sat)

One day off only (Sunday)

Fourth week: 3 days (Mon‑Wed)

The schedule resets every four weeks

Provides 160 hours of straight time equivalent pay every four weeks

Week 1: 40 regular + 8 overtime (12‑hour days = 52 hours)

Week 2: 36 regular

Week 3: 36 regular

Week 4: 36 regular

We plan to transition to a 7‑day schedule once sales orders increase.

Responsibilities

Read, interpret, and follow machinery and batch instructions.

Gather raw materials; measure and mix according to batching instructions.

Record information regarding material usage and finished products when necessary.

Operate machinery necessary for producing product.

Maintain cleanliness of equipment and surrounding area.

Ensure EH&S and company policies are followed.

Handle waste to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.

Support company FSSC initiative by maintaining and improving food safety and food quality through completing job tasks, following GMP’s, and maintaining a sanitary work area.

Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.

2+ years experience in an operator role in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

Skills & Abilities

Excellent organization and time management skills.

Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.

Machine, Tools, & Equipment

Hand tools, mechanics tools, forklift, computer, fax machine, scanner, phone, email.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, preferably MS Office 360, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Valid driver's license may be required if operating Trucent vehicles.
