Mixer Operator (First Shift)

This position ensures quality of incoming raw materials, formulates ingredients to produce cone batter, conducts quality checks of finished product, and is responsible for packing finished cone products, visual inspection, and palletizing products when not in the mix room.
Coordinate the mixing area by blending ingredients on an ongoing consistent basis within specifications; formulate batter which is pumped to ovens for cone manufacturing.
Perform repetitive work to pack cones into packaging for shipping.
Monitor the quality of finished product and communicate problems to Oven Operator, Quality Tech, and Supervisor.
Regular clean-up of mix tanks, pipes, and room.
Perform quality assurance testing of both incoming raw materials and finished cone product and record information.
Fill out mix room production reports.
Prepare packaging for packing and shipping.
Stack finished goods cases for palletization.
Apply labels on packing materials.
Adherence to the company attendance policy is required, including expectations of punctuality and limited unapproved absences.
Lift up to 50 lbs. on an occasional basis.
Push or pull with up to 50 lbs. of force on an occasional basis.
Any lifting over 50 lbs. requires a team lift.
Stoop, kneel, climb or squat on an occasional basis.
Use hands to grip, pinch, handle, reach, or feel on a frequent basis.
Stand on a continuous basis and walk on a frequent basis.
Possess manual dexterity.
Able to perform repetitive tasks up to 12 hours per day.
Ability to read, analyze and follow directions in English.
Ability to apply formulas and mathematical concepts.
