Overnight Stocker – Cosentino's Price Chopper
Location: 9717 N Ash, North Liberty, KS 64139
Position Objective: To assist customers in their shopping experience by properly stocking shelves and displays in the most efficient, friendly, and courteous manner possible.
Job Details Reporting Structure: Night Manager
Status: Non-exempt
Essential Knowledge Completion of ongoing training and development as listed on the Cosentino’s Learning Plan.
Non-Essential Knowledge A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Essential Job Functions Know and implement the Cosentino’s Customer Service Standards.
Quickly unload and sort incoming shipments and neatly stock them in their designated areas without damaging merchandise.
Keep back room and cooler/freezer areas neat and ready for new deliveries.
Quickly and neatly stock grocery shelves by matching item UPC codes to shelf tags and using the "face front" display method.
Support the inventory process by accurately counting and recording merchandise.
Monitor products for damage and remove or file damage claims appropriately.
Operate, clean, and maintain all equipment safely and competently.
Meet or exceed productivity standards to produce desired team and individual results.
Monitor expiration dates and ensure proper rotation.
Keep work area and department clean and safe for customers and coworkers.
Comply with health regulations, sanitation guidelines, and safety procedures.
Demonstrate strong verbal and interpersonal skills for positive customer and peer interactions.
Demonstrate basic math and reading skills required for the position.
Non-Essential Job Functions Know your department items, procedures, and policies to accurately answer customer questions.
Resolve customer complaints professionally and involve management when appropriate.
Complete additional tasks as identified by management.
Essential Physical Abilities Reach overhead with both arms up to 84 inches, twist at the waist, and lift objects up to 10 lbs.
Push and pull loaded grocery carts and pallet jacks up to 75 lbs.
Stand and walk for long periods on hard surfaces.
Frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Bend and squat to floor level.
Work in cold conditions of grocery coolers and freezers.
Non-Essential Physical Abilities Climb a ladder up to 15 ft.
