Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nephrologist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care for patients with kidney-related conditions, including chronic kidney disease, hypertension, Home PD, HHD, in Center Dialysis, inpatient hospital consultation and post transplant care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient evaluations and assessments to diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases.
Make rounds at the dialysis clinic and see patients in dialysis clinic, home PD, home hemodialysis patients.
See patients other weeks in the hospital for inpatient consultation for AKI, ESRD and electrolyte disturbances.
See patient in the main and satellite office with CKD, hypertension, post transplant care and consultation for electrolyte disturbances and glomerular diseases.
Engage in patient education and counseling regarding kidney health.
Call 1 in 4th weekend and 4th weeknight.
Qualifications
Medical degree from an accredited institution
BC/BE in Nephrology
Eligible to obtain medical license to practice in State of Georgia
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development
