This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.### **Position Overview:** ### **Primary Responsibilities:**- Daily cattle care and herd health — calving, feeding, treatments, and movement between pastures.
- Fence repair, equipment operation, and general ranch/farm maintenance.
- Assist with limited crop production (~400 acres) as needed.
- Haul cattle and materials using farm trucks and trailers.
- Check cattle on satellite pastures (Alliance area) and handle field calls independently.
- Work directly with the owners to manage herd efficiency, forage, and land improvements.
- Support occasional community/family events and maintain property appearance.### **Ideal Candidate Profile:****- Couple strongly preferred** — ideally both with farm or livestock backgrounds.
**- Rooted in Nebraska or the nearby region**, seeking long-term stability and community ties.
**- Strong cow/calf experience** required; must be comfortable handling livestock with minimal supervision.
- Mechanically inclined and capable of operating and maintaining machinery.
- Family-oriented with a desire to raise children in a rural environment.

**- Long-Term Equity/Inheritance Potential:** After 15-20 years, the family could become equal heirs with the owners' four children (1/5 share each).
