Identifies reportable cancer cases through the review of pathology reports, radiation oncology treatment notes, gynecologic oncology treatment notes, and the merge file. Collates data from various sources into a computerized suspense file. Completes all required supportive documents and follow-up documentation for each identified patient. Accurately abstracts reportable cases in a timely manner following ACoS and state abstracting guidelines. Completes corrections to state edits within the assigned time frame. Enters follow-up data into the abstract as appropriate. Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's, High School Grad or Equiv (Required) Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) - EV Accredited Issuing Body Pay Range
