Job Type: Short Term Casual, Temporary until June 2026, 6 hours per week, Salary $24.00 per week.

Position Summary:

The Program in Occupational Therapy is seeking a Student Research Worker to work with the PI and research assistants to organize laboratory materials related to behavioral research.

Responsibilities

Communicate with community and research partners.

Organize meetings, minutes, reports, and executive summaries.

Organize participant recruitment.

Research coding (qualitative and quantitative methods). Experience with mixed methods research designs preferred.

Conduct literature searches.

Enter data in databases and perform data management.

Manuscript formatting for various editorial systems.

Perform other duties as required/requested.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social sciences, or data science.

Current student enrolled at Columbia University.

Preferred Qualifications

Current student at the Mailman School of Public Health (preferred).

B.A. or B.S. degree in Psychology, Social Sciences, or other appropriate science discipline.

Previous experience working in a research laboratory setting is desirable.
