Now Hiring forRadio Dispatcher! We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Radio Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for public safety and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

Pay Scale (CBA Position)

$23.18 - $30.59 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement PayScale)

Starting pay is $23.18 with progression to $30.69 over 10 years

Benefits include:

Vacation: up to 25 days per year

Paid Sick Leave: 26 hrs. for full‑time employees after first year worked progressing up to 40 hrs. after third year worked

Responsibilities:

Oversees road service assigned carriers by tracking trip performance measures, route begin on time, performance, incidents, etc.

Provides customer support by responding to questions and concerns regarding customer trips including no‑shows, cancellations and missed trips.

Manages emergency situations for vehicle operators, act as liaison between the carrier and emergency services.

Manages daily service by reviewing route performance and proactively responding to situations that impact customer service

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED; Technical Degree preferred.

3-5 years' experience dispatching.

Excellent verbal, interpersonal and customer service skills.

Problem‑solving and analytical skills.

Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.

The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.

Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
