Job Description
Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems. Educates patients about the exam and completes all exams in a timely manner, maintaining workflow and minimizing empty table time.
Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.
Practicing infection control standards and using approved PPE and disinfectant agents.
Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams.
Performs high-quality CT examinations in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols, ensuring optimal image quality for accurate diagnosis.
Qualifications Qualifications required: • Bachelor's, High School Grad or Equiv (Required) • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) • Certified Radiologic Technologist (R.T.-CERT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body • Department of Safety and Professional Services Licensed (DSPS-LIC) - Accredited Issuing Body • Licensed Radiology Technologist, Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) • Licensed Radiology Technologist, Kansas State Board of Healing Arts (L.R.T.) • Medical Radiation Technology, IEMA (MRT-IEMA) • Medical Radiologic Tech, (MRT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body • Registered Technologist - Radiography (R.T.(R)(ARRT)) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
Pay Range $28.68 - $53.35
