Sales Support Specialist Location: Camden, NJ. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible shifts, overtime and occasional weekends as needed). Environment: Manufacturing plant in the steel industry, casual setting, high‑volume trucking movement.

About The Role We are seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join our team in Camden, NJ. This position plays a key role in supporting sales operations and ensuring smooth processing of customer purchase orders in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Assist Sales Manager with purchase order requests.

Accurately enter and process sales orders.

Monitor inventory levels and communicate updates to internal teams.

Provide exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries promptly.

Manage shipping updates and invoicing requirements.

Organize and maintain data in Excel, ensuring accurate customer information.

Adhere to company policies and standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience in sales support.

Familiarity with invoicing/billing and shipping/receiving processes.

Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills (including Outlook).

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Customer service experience.

Steel industry experience is highly preferred but not required.

Work Environment

Casual atmosphere; not a corporate office.

Must be comfortable in an industrial setting with steel workers and trucking activity.

Job Type & Location Contract to Hire position based out of Camden, NJ.

Pay and Benefits Pay range: $24.00 – $24.00 per hour.
