Position Summary The Graduate Assistant for Student Conduct and Crisis Management (GACC) will work out of the Housing and Residence Life office in the Whitlock Building to assist with student conduct, crisis management, and other initiatives. GACC will support and implement the Student Code of Conduct Policies and the Residential Community Guide, cultivate standards of care that allows students to grow and develop standard behaviors, and enhance the living of all students within our campus communities. The GACC reports directly to the Associate Director of Residence Life for Crisis Management and Residence Life Operations.

Minimum Qualifications
Unconditional acceptance into a graduate degree program at Eastern Kentucky University
Enroll in at least nine (9) credit hours per semester in a graduate degree program
Maintain a 3.0 GPA in coursework leading toward the completion of graduate degree
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possess excellent computer skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Skills in multi-tasking and the availability to work evenings and weekends as needed
Possess excellent administrative skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in student leadership roles, residence life, or student affairs.
Crisis response, conflict resolution, or supervisory experience.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
Job Duties
Work within an assigned focus area within Housing and Residence Life to provide support and development. - (Essential)
Perform and support other areas of Housing and Residence Life as assigned. - (Essential)
Attend various trainings and meetings as needed. - (Essential)
