Crisis Support Clinician
provides crisis and connective services to youth and families experiencing significant psychological, emotional, and behavioral problems that interfere with well‑being. The position will coordinate and implement treatment goals and service delivery for assigned clients, meeting with clients and caregivers on a regular basis. The clinician works alongside a treatment team to help deliver services.
About Seneca's Mobile Response Team The Mobile Response Team (MRT) is a short‑term program comprising clinicians and counselors who can support youth in crisis when there are concerns for immediate safety. MRT conducts a comprehensive risk assessment to determine the level of risk, needs of the youth, and explores strengths of the client, family, and community supports. MRT facilitates the creation of a safety plan to support youth and caregivers, minimizing the instances and severity of future crises. MRT also supports youth with linkage and advocacy to connect them and their families to long‑term services if needed.

Responsibilities
Provide therapeutic crisis intervention, stabilization, risk assessment, and collaboration in times of acute crisis.
Provide case management services to ensure the successful transition of clients and families to community‑based resources.
Provide services focusing on skill building in all life domains.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with community members and providers.
Aid in care planning and consultation to team members on clinical issues, including casework issues, as appropriate.
Participate in all treatment reviews, program meetings, trainings, and client meetings when necessary.
Complete clinical documentation, including mental‑health notes, service tracking, assessments, and treatment planning.
Participate in weekly individual and group supervision.
Adhere to clinical best practices.
Maintain a flexible schedule that includes early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends as needed.
Participate in providing emergency on‑call response as scheduled.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling.
Eligible to register/registered with the CA BBS.
At least 21 years of age.
TB test clearance, fingerprinting clearance, and any other state/federal licensing or certification requirements.
Preferred
Experience working with children in out‑of‑home care.
Skills Of An Ideal Candidate
Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to work with a diverse population.
Good organizational and writing skills.
Schedule
Full‑time
Sundays – Wednesdays: 8 am to 6 pm or 12 pm to 10 pm
Wednesday – Saturdays: 8 am to 6 pm or 12 pm to 10 pm
Flexibility required to accommodate clients and families.
One night a week of on‑call, 10 pm to 8 am
Benefits
Starting at $81,370–$95,370 per year (actual salary dependent on experience). Additional $4000 salary increase for BBS licensure; additional increase upon passing a bilingual proficiency exam; $2,000 sign‑on bonus for new Seneca employees in this role.
5 weeks of paid time off and 11 paid holidays.
Relocation assistance may be available.
