School‑Based Behavioral Health Liaison
position embedded in Campbell County Schools.
Job Overview You will deliver direct therapy to students and coach school staff to engage students with behavioral health needs. The role is year‑round with a Monday‑Friday schedule.

Requirements
Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or counseling
Experience with children and/or adolescents, particularly in a therapeutic or counseling capacity (preferred but not required)
Job Duties School Based Behavioral Health Liaisons provide face‑to‑face consultation with classroom teachers to create positive, trauma‑informed classroom environments. Duties include:
Consulting with teachers to enhance learning environments for students at risk of emotional/behavioral problems or substance use disorder
Training teachers on childhood mental health and trauma‑informed behavior responses
Facilitating psycho‑educational groups and other support for identified youth
Providing liaison support between families and the school, including assistance with IEP and trauma‑informed support plans when invited
Applying social work and counseling skills to support students, families, and staff
The Ideal Candidate Will
Facilitate awareness, growth, and psychological development of clients
Build rapport with empathic listening, caring, and warmth
Be authentic, genuine, and transparent
Resolve serious issues and conflicts within families
Encourage and motivate individuals to address mental health and behavioral problems effectively
Create a safe, warm therapeutic culture
Work toward licensure as LCSW, LPC‑MHSP, or LMFT if not already licensed
