Salary Range:
$48,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Perform precise calibration and verification of measurement tools and equipment.
Conduct dimensional inspections of manufactured parts and assemblies using various metrology instruments.
Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and other automated measurement systems.
Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T specifications, and quality standards to ensure measurement accuracy.
Document and maintain detailed records of calibration activities, inspection results, and equipment maintenance.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with measurement equipment and processes, implementing corrective actions.
Support production and engineering teams by providing measurement data and metrology expertise.
Recommended Qualifications
Associate's degree in Metrology, Quality, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
Proficiency in using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMMs
Strong ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
Experience with calibration procedures and maintaining measurement equipment
Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and data analysis software
Bonus Qualifications
CMM or Vision System programming experience
Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
Experience utilizing statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or similar continuous improvement training
Experience in the design or fabrication of measurement fixtures
