What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Provide efficient and accurate responses to inquiries from external customers and internal team members regarding health plan benefits

Educate customers on drug formulary guidelines and alternatives, ensuring compliance with NCQA & CMS requirements

Resolve customer concerns, grievances, and appeal rights, escalating when necessary to achieve positive outcomes

Maintain accurate documentation of all service interactions within appropriate systems

Collaborate with internal and external resources to enhance customer experience and suggest process improvements

What is Required (Qualifications)

High School Diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 1 year of relevant customer-facing service experience in a high-volume call center or insurance environment

At least 2 years of relevant Pharmacy technician experience or pharmacy billing/claim adjudication experience

Must maintain CPhT certification through continuing education

Ability to demonstrate professional and pleasant interactions with customers

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Associate's Degree

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) certification upon hire

State of Michigan Pharmacy Technician license upon hire
