We seek an innovative and collaborative director-educator with demonstrated excellence in directing, acting, and related artistic areas to join a dynamic faculty. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses in acting, directing, and related areas; mentor student directors and actors; direct for departmental productions; and engage in ongoing creative and/or scholarly work.Faculty at TAMU–CC are expected to maintain active professional and creative activity/scholarly research, demonstrate excellence in teaching, contribute to departmental, school, & university service, and support community engagement.The Department of Theatre and Dance at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi is a vibrant, student-centered program offering a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with concentrations in Acting/Directing and Design/Technology, as well as minors in Theatre and Dance. The department produces five mainstage theatre productions, three dance concerts, and numerous student-led projects annually. Faculty collaborates with a full-time technical staff, professional guest artists, and student crews.
