Seeking: Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC)
Experience: At least 2-3 yrs experience with Mental Health/ Substance Abuse Population; Child/Adult Experience.
Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. (Full Time)
Part-Time & Full-Time positions are available.

Responsibilities
Assess clients to evaluate and assign the appropriate services/education treatment program, conduct group therapy sessions, and occasionally provide counseling services to individuals.
Manage a client caseload, consult with other staff as well as referring agencies, perform client follow-up and discharge duties.
Interact and communicate with groups and individuals involved in the agency.
Prepare, receive, and process a variety of documents and reports. Attend required training and meetings.
Record keeping on an Electronic Health Record system (Qualifacts/CareLogic).
Ensure that assigned program meets the policies, procedures, and licensing standards required by DHEC, CARF, and the DAODAS Quality Assurance Standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Maintain all required credentialing.
A professional counselor or Licensed Social Worker (e.g., LPC, LMSW, LISW, LMFT)
General knowledge of Electronic Health Record systems.
Knowledge of substance use disorders detailed in the DSM-V.
Knowledge of ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) criteria.
Maintain a valid Driver's License.
Minimum - Master's Degree in health and human services field.
