Job Description The Armed Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of customers, employees, and property. This includes patrolling the store premises, monitoring surveillance footage, and responding to any security-related incidents or emergencies. The guard also enforces store policies and procedures, helps prevent theft and other criminal activity, and assists with the investigation of incidents.

Key Responsibilities
Patrol the store premises to ensure safety.
Monitor surveillance footage and respond to incidents.
Enforce store policies and procedures, including theft prevention.
Assist with investigation of thefts and other incidents.
Document and report any security-related incidents.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Prior experience as a security guard or in a related field is preferred.
Ability to stand for long periods and walk long distances.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
Basic computer skills and familiarity with security systems and equipment.
Must have an active security license.
Must have an active armed security license.
Must provide your own firearm.
Must have open availability and be willing to travel to multiple locations.
