Overview
About the Club:
Croasdaile Country Club, an 18‑hole private member‑owned club located in Durham, North Carolina. Established in 1966, Croasdaile Country Club has a rich history that stems from the commitment of Drs. Frances and Herbert Fox, who developed a neighborhood that offered beautiful homes, a championship golf course, tennis and swimming facilities, and an elegant clubhouse as the focal point of the community.
The 7,068‑yard, par 72 golf course, with its three separate practice areas, was designed in 1966 by renowned architect George W. Cobb and redesigned in a $3 million renovation in 2002 by his former associate, award‑winning golf course architect, John LaFoy. LaFoy is responsible for some of the most notable courses in the South and assisted in the redesign of Augusta National Golf Course. Croasdaile has hosted several well‑known tournaments, including the 2024 North Carolina Amateur, the Duke Children’s Classic, and the annual Durham Senior Amateur.
The club has 500 total memberships, 350 golf, and plays approximately 25,000 annual rounds. The golf program offers an active schedule of member events and hosts up to 10 outside group outings. In addition, extensive renovations to the clubhouse were completed in 2018 and the club is currently updating.
