Lead Early Childhood Teacher – West Loop

Inspire learning: Use our curriculum to deliver engaging lessons that spark curiosity and foster a love of learning.
Multitask with purpose: Support growth and well‑being of each child through responsive care, balanced routines, and effective classroom management.
Build strong relationships: Partner with families and children through open communication, daily interactions, and meaningful moments of connection.
Collaborate with your team: Work alongside talented educators to create a joyful, purposeful classroom culture that supports every child’s development.
Make a lasting impact: Support children’s social, emotional, and academic growth in a nurturing, inclusive environment.
Minimum Qualifications (Required by Illinois DCFS)
High School Diploma or GED
Illinois DCFS Lead Teacher qualifications, including:
60 semester hours (or 90 quarter hours) of college credit with at least 6 semester hours in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, OR
A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, OR
An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
At least 18 years old
Experience teaching in a licensed preschool setting
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
5–10 years of experience in a licensed childcare setting
2–3 years of experience in a Montessori or Reggio‑inspired environment
