Board Certified Behavior Analyst – Tucson, AZ (BCS‑Tucson) Join Intermountain Centers in one of Arizona’s largest behavioral health and integrated care organizations. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) you will provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to clients aged 2–18 diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related disorders, and lead a team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT).

General Summary The BCBA will plan, develop, monitor treatment, provide consultative services, and deliver evidence‑based ABA training in the clinic and beyond. The role requires strong clinical oversight, mentorship, and collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams.

Job Responsibilities

Provide clinical oversight and supervision to all programming, including training of RBTs and BHTs.

Develop and facilitate ABA training using discrete trial and natural environment models.

Provide caregiver training and support skill generalization in home, school, and community settings.

Coach team members on proactive, strength‑based, family‑centered treatment plans, functional behavior assessments, and behavior support plans.

Create and maintain data collection systems, analyze data regularly to guide programming.

Conduct norm‑referenced and criterion‑referenced assessments (e.g., Vineland, VB‑MAPP, PEAK, AFLS).

Meet with supervised staff to discuss consumer issues and provide support.

Review and sign off on treatment plans and behavior support plans written by trainees.

Set discharge criteria and develop generalization plans.

Serve as liaison to families, conducting frequent check‑ins to ensure satisfaction with services.

Complete progress notes using appropriate EHR codes within 24 hours of service.

Provide consultation to the Child and Family Team regarding behavior intervention strategies and training.

Mentor, coach, and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians.

Develop supervision protocols in line with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board standards.

Keep current with literature, research findings, and required continuing education for BCBA certification.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field.

Minimum of 1 year as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (preferred); 3 years experience with children and/or adults with ASD or related disorders.

Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst recognized by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.

Must hold a current Arizona licensed behavior analyst certification issued by the Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners.

Regulatory Requirements

Minimum age 21 years.

Valid Arizona driver’s license, 39‑month motor vehicle report, proof of vehicle registration, and liability insurance meeting employer requirements.

Level 1 fingerprint clearance.

CPR and First Aid certification (provided by employer).

Initial negative TB test result (provided by employer).
