Substance Abuse Counselor (Master's degree and LCDC III) Join New Season as a Substance Abuse Counselor. We are looking for a dedicated professional who can provide individual, group, and family counseling to patients struggling with opioid use disorder.

Essential Functions

Work with patients to complete intakes, admissions, discharges, and transfer paperwork.

Document patient progress through counseling and group interactions.

Complete patient psychosocial and individualized treatment plan within the required timeframe.

Identify and address clinical/case management needs.

Perform individual, group, and family counseling as required.

Ensure at least 20 hours of direct one-on-one patient contact per week.

Educate patients on treatment, health issues, and steps to recovery.

Obtain urine drug screens and initial patient photo identification.

Act in the best interests of the program and company, protecting proprietary data and rights.

Essential Qualifications

Master’s degree in Human Services or a related field.

Active LCDC-III license in Ohio.

Experience in the substance abuse field preferred but not required.
