Responsibilities
Work in the Emergency Department of a Trauma 1, teaching hospital
Night shifts, 3x12 hours from 19:30 to 08:00
Patient ratios of 1:4-5 in the ED
Every other weekend and every other holiday are required
No floating to other units required
No on-call responsibilities
Uses Cerner Sorian 1st generation EMR
Royal blue scrubs are required
Parking is available through paid hospital lots or street meters, with cost responsibility on the employee
Public transportation options are available with the hospital accessible through Metro rail and multiple bus routes
Two professional references are required for consideration
Requirements
Active DC RN license required
Minimum 1.5 years of Emergency Department RN experience
Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and TNCC
Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
