Job Description We are looking for a Technical Lead with 2+ years of experience as a data scientist executing end-to-end Gen AI projects. The role requires expertise in large language model development, agentic frameworks, evaluation frameworks, embedding, and production API development as well as enterprise database and vector store technologies.
Experience with LLM Models (Llama, Mixtral, Mistral), transformer/pipeline or vllm inference, langgraph agentic framework, RAGAS, langsmith, phoenix-arize evaluation frameworks.
Embedding technologies: all-MiniLM-L6-v2, all-mpnet-base-v2.
LLM development frameworks: Langchain, LlamaIndex.
Production API development: FastAPI, Websockets.
Enterprise vector and relational databases: Redis, Qdrant, Cockroach.
Model Risk Management/Model Governance experience: delivering Gen AI projects following governance guidelines, writing model documents, building model monitoring capabilities.
Strong programming experience with Python.
Angular experience is a plus.
Experience with Slurm, Hadoop/Hive, Neo4J, Apache Spark, Kafka, and MongoDB is a plus.
Knowledge of machine-learning techniques, classifiers, and statistical methods.
Advanced degree or equivalent experience in mathematics, data science, or a quantitative discipline.
Demonstrated success in executing high-value enterprise projects with clear articulation of benefits, costs, and risk.
Superb communication, coaching, and management skills across multiple business stakeholders, IT, and external partners.
Desire to use modern technologies as a disruptive influence within the Finance domain.
Compensation and Benefits Mandatory Skills: Python for Insights. Experience: 5-8 Years. Expected compensation ranges from $60,000 to $135,000, depending on location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. The role is eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits, including medical and dental benefits, disability insurance, paid time off (sick leave and other paid leave), and other paid and unpaid leave options.
