Summary ESI seeks a skilled Kronos Workforce Administrator who will work under the direction of the functional program manager and closely with various project teams, departmental subject matter experts and the vendor. The functional administrator will provide support throughout the pay cycle and must be capable of providing administrative and functional support to MCtime (Kronos Workforce Timekeeper V8 and Pro WFM) end users; providing staff level support for the MCtime system; acting as a liaison to County department representatives and coordinating research into and resolution of user problems including system functionality, employee schedules, pay rule assignment, timeclock configuration; researching and responding to user inquiries and issues reported to the MCtime Help Desk.

Duties & Responsibilities

Assisting with the implementation of department specific timekeeping related processes and procedures used in conjunction with the MCtime application

Participating in the testing of system upgrades and service patches; create/update test scripts

Participating in the process of reporting inadequacies and problems (“bugs”) (both functional and technical) within the MCtime (Kronos Workforce Timekeeper V8) application to the functional project manager for submission to the vendor (Kronos)

Processing forms submitted by department representatives related to MCtime system administration functions, including, but not limited to: Employee schedule change request

Special Manager Access request Director Delegation

Resolving daily Transaction Assistant Errors

Providing help desk support for employees and department representatives, including individual adhoc training as required

Performing validation and verification of timecard entries at the close of the pay period

Participating in developing training materials and facilitating training sessions as required

Creating reports for end users based on dynamic operational needs

Creating/Revising SQL/WIM queries to support operational needs and migrate to the Boomi platform as part of the upgrade to Pro WFM (Dimensions)

Perform updates to CRTs and Boomi functionality required on the UKG Pro WFM platform

Configure/Reconfigure/Test pay rules, work rules and assignment rules in Kronos Workforce Timekeeper V8 as operational needs change, including new Pro WFM (Dimensions) features for upgrade

Configure/Maintain/Test timeclocks for various departments/locations, implement others as required

Monitor daily, weekly, biweekly interface jobs to ensure timely imports and accuracy of data inputs; review/recommend changes to Workforce Integration Manager interfaces and/or CRTs and Boomi

Review, recommend changes to scheduling imports that affect timekeeping policies/processes

Creating/Modifying schedule patterns and/or groups as required

Creating/Modifying genies, Hyperfinds and/or pay codes as operational needs change

Update Holiday Calendar including affected pay rules (including any special WIM jobs)

Qualifications

Proficient in Kronos Workforce Timekeeper V8 and can quickly learn and understand the County’s configuration

Proficiency in configuring pay rules, work rules and assignment rules; accrual codes and profiles

Proficiency in reviewing/creating/modifying Workforce Integration Manager and SQL queries

Proficiency in creating reports using Kronos Reporting Tools or SQL queries

Proficiency in the Pro WFM (Dimensions) and Boomi platforms

Contractor will possess the following Boomi Certifications: Associate, Professional, and Empowerment Certificates

Ability to communicate effectively (orally and written) with various levels of employees maintaining team communications and processing forms.

Forms processing, which includes the ability to analyze and verify data, ensuring that appropriate authorization is provided, prior to updates in Kronos Workforce Timekeeper. Ensuring appropriate handling of processed forms, including organizing and storing processed forms in accordance with audit compliance

Ability to provide general system administration including, but not limited to monitoring of regular interface jobs, resolving Transaction Assistant errors and creating/modifying genies and Hyperfinds

Ability to apply Personnel Regulations and Collective Bargaining agreements to specific employee time and attendance configurations

Ability to provide functional application and/or process support to end users. Experience can be related to an informal or formal help desk support process

Experienced in system testing such as upgrade related, service patch or regression testing

Knowledgeable in automated scheduling systems/modules such as Trapeze or TeleStaff to include ETL (extract, transform, load) of data

Ability to create written documentation for new and existing processes and/or related issues

Additionally, to be successful the candidate will:

Possess a basic knowledge of payroll practices and procedures

Ability to quickly learn and understand Departmental operational needs, including Public Safety

Possess an elevated level of attention to detail

Possess a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Be skilled in planning, organizing work and setting priorities

Work well in a changing environment maintaining a strong positive perspective

Have experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and automated email systems, such as Office 365.

Become familiar with County Personnel Regulations and Collective Bargaining agreements specific to timekeeping policies and processes.
