Confidential Opportunity | Industrial Engineer (Operations) We are supporting a
global manufacturing leader
in the electronics industry with the search for an
Industrial Engineer
to join their Operations team. This role plays a critical part in developing, optimizing, and supporting
PCBA and SMT assembly processes
in a fast‑paced production environment.
What you’ll do:
Optimize and configure SMT and PCBA manufacturing processes and equipment
Lead DOE initiatives to improve yield and efficiency
Drive DFM/DFT best practices from design through volume production
Support reflow, selective soldering, conformal coating, and test processes
Partner closely with design engineering and production teams to resolve issues and improve throughput
Apply lean manufacturing tools to improve layouts, tooling, methods, and efficiency
Support new product introductions and transitions to high-volume manufacturing
What we’re looking for:
3+ years of hands‑on experience in SMT / PCBA process engineering
Strong experience with pick‑and‑place, reflow ovens, selective soldering, or conformal coating
Proven problem‑solver with strong communication skills
Comfortable working in a demanding, high‑growth manufacturing environment
Willingness to support production needs, including extended hours or off‑shift support when required
