Arkansas Childrens is expanding its specialty care offerings at Arkansas Childrens Northwest (ACNW)
and were looking for two dedicated Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Physicians to joinin our mission-driven team. This is your opportunity to help shape the future of cancer and blood disorder care for children across the region.
About the Role As part of our pediatric hematology/oncology team, youll provide compassionate, expert care to children with complex hematologic and oncologic conditions. Youll be a vital partner to physicians, nurses, social workers and other specialists working together to deliver personalized treatment and hope for every family we serve.
About Our Program
We provide comprehensive care for children across northwest Arkansas, as well as parts of northeastern Oklahoma and southwestern Missouri
Our team practices in a modern, fully equipped outpatient clinic staffed by nurses specializing in pediatric hematology and oncology. Here, we see the full spectrum of conditions managed by pediatric hematology/oncology physicians
Beginning in January 2026 , our clinic will be integrated with a state-of-the-art outpatient infusion center, offering transfusion services, chemotherapy administration, and sedation for procedures including lumbar punctures and bone marrow aspirations/biopsies
Inpatient chemotherapy is delivered at our modern childrens hospital, which will expand to 40 beds in 2026 . Patients benefit from 24/7 pediatric hospitalist coverage and nursing care provided by APHON-certified chemotherapy nurses
Our physicians provide both in-person and telephone consultative services to the ACNW Emergency Department and inpatient hospitalist team
We are actively engaged in national research initiatives through the Childrens Oncology Group, POETIC, NACHO , and industry-supported clinical trials
We collaborate closely with teams at Arkansas Childrens Hospital in Little Rock in the care of patients with bleeding disorders, vascular anomalies, sickle cell disease and neuro-oncology
On-site specialty nursing support is available for all clinic-related activities, while research nursing support is dedicated to advancing our clinical trials and research initiatives

About Arkansas Childrens Northwest ACNW is the first and only pediatric hospital in the Northwest Arkansas region and is part of the Arkansas Childrens Healthcare System.We provide emergency, primary and specialty care for thousands of children close to home and we are expanding our programs, spaces and access to continue to meet the growing demands in the community. By the end of 2026, we will have smarter clinical spaces, increased our inpatient beds, have added more operating rooms and growing programs to treat complex conditions, reducing the need for transfers to our Little Rock campus. Our current services include:
20+ subspecialty clinics (including hematology/oncology)
Regions only pediatric emergency department
Inpatient services with a 25-bed unit (expanding to 40 in 2026)
Infusion services, imaging, surgical care and rehabilitation therapies
A child-friendly, family-centered approach to care that blends advanced medicine with compassion
