We are looking for Cardiac Cath Lab RNs who have 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience. As a Cath Lab RN, you will work with a highly skilled team of medical professionals in a cardiovascular surgical environment, providing assistance to the physician, maintaining and monitoring EKG equipment, and supporting procedures such as angioplasty, cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology.
Key Responsibilities
Learn complex technologies effectively.
Assist physicians with cardiac catheterization to diagnose or treat heart conditions.
Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties and stent placements.
Help implant pacemakers and implantable cardioverter‑defibrillators (ICDs).
Cath Lab Travel Nurses must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean and stoop without difficulty, and lift up to 20 pounds (up to 50 pounds for patient transfers). The fast‑paced environment requires strong stress‑management skills and the ability to interact with people of all ages and backgrounds.
Requirements
ACLS, BLS, 2 years of experience.
* Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
