Interventional Cardiologist – Grand Junction, CO

About this role As an Interventional Cardiologist, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience.
You will join a rapidly growing cardiology group that includes 3 other EPs, 4 interventional cardiologists, 3 general cardiologists and 8 advanced practice providers.
Benefits and Compensation
$30,000 starting bonus , up to
$20,000
in relocation assistance, and
$75,000
in student loan repayment when applicable.
Practice at West Park Cardiology and St. Mary's Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Nonprofit health care system, Level II Trauma Center with 346 beds and a large referral area.
Fully staffed structural heart program (TAVR, Mitra‑clip, Watchman and PFO closure).
This is a coronary position, but a few structural cases may be available to maintain skills.
Full EP support.
Advanced cardiac imaging with cardiac CT, CT‑FFR and cMRI.
Hours: Mon – Fri ~ 8 am – 5 pm with 1:5 STEMI call.
Existing patient panel with room to grow your practice.
Annual base salary:
$750,000.00
– 1:4 call included in base.
wRVU bonus:
$65.00
per wRVU over 10,950.
Quality incentive:
$25,000.00 .
Excess call:
$1,320.00
per 24‑hour shift.
What you’ll bring
MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
ABMS board certification or eligibility in Interventional Cardiology –
Not accepting Structural Heart Candidates .
Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
BLS certification and DEA registration.
Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.
Not requiring Visa sponsorship at this time.

Hourly range: $7.25 – $999.99 (actual hourly rate dependent upon experience).
