Field Service Technician II

Job Title: Field Service Technician II Department: Sales (Upstream or Downstream) Reports To: District Manager or Sales Manager SUMMARY:

This position supports field sales in the day‑to‑day operation of Dorf Ketal key programs and chemical application at customer locations. Responsibilities include sampling, testing, inventory management, chemical handling and transfers, coordinating & supervising deliveries, data management, record keeping, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining injection equipment and storage equipment. The technician will also establish strong working relationships with customer operations and engineering personnel, ensuring the programs deliver promised ROI under moderate supervision. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct routine and non‑routine sampling and testing of the process to verify that key performance parameters for the chemical programs are being met; report results and observations to the Site Lead or Account Manager. Manage onsite inventory for all chemical applications, ensuring adequate supplies of chemistry for daily/weekly/monthly demands, assist in order management, handling and transfer of chemicals on site, and maintain accurate inventory and usage records. Coordinate and supervise all deliveries on site, unloading chemicals into bulk storage or tote containers and storing them in designated areas. Repair, replace and maintain all chemical injection pumps and facilities to ensure proper chemical delivery; erect and assemble new injection facilities as needed. Maintain adequate spare/backup pumps and equipment, ensuring all work meets required codes (OSHA, city and federal) and plant policies and procedures. Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, face shields, hearing protection, safety shoes, gloves and aprons. Responsible for proper care and cleaning of tools, parts, materials and work area. Provide coverage in the absence of other Field Service Technicians. Support and assist in implementing and maintaining certified management systems such as ISO 9001; identify training needs and promote awareness of risks and opportunities associated with the work. Support and assist in implementing and maintaining the RCMS program; promote awareness of the RCMS guiding principles and Dorf Ketal's HSSE policy, objectives and goals. Perform other projects as required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience

High School Diploma or GED. 1–3 years’ relevant work experience. Technical/vocational training or Associate's degree in a technical discipline may be substituted for work experience. Understanding of basic Refining, Petrochemical plant and oilfield operations. Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. WORK CONDITIONS

This position requires working outdoors, often in remote locations and/or in extreme weather conditions, with moderate to loud noise levels. The job involves stooping, crouching, kneeling, crawling, bending, reaching, walking, standing, climbing ladders or equipment, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Employees must communicate effectively via phone, email and in‑person interactions. PAY GRADE
