Lead and manage the Social Work Department, overseeing the development and implementation of social service programs and policies
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify and address resident needs, providing individualized care and support
Recruit, train, and supervise Social Work staff, ensuring excellent patient care and service delivery
Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including families, healthcare providers, and community organizations
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, analyzing data and implementing strategies to enhance resident outcomes and satisfaction
Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulations, providing expert guidance and support to staff
Director of Social Work Requirements:
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field
Prior experience in social work, preferably in a long‑term care setting
Licensure as a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in staff supervision and development
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines
