Class Description
The position will lead targeted recruitment of veterans, active‑duty military, and military‑affiliated students, both locally and overseas, while also promoting and recruiting for Continuing Education and Workforce Development (CEWD) programs. Special emphasis will be placed on high‑demand certificate programs. The position will also engage special populations and develop strategic partnerships with community organizations, grants, and resources.
Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in education, communications, social sciences, business, marketing, STEM, or a related field is required. Three (3) years of full‑time experience in education or recruitment required. Relevant experience includes secondary education, higher education, sales, community outreach, program coordination, or developing outreach programs. Prior military service with an honorable discharge and at least two years of military service preferred.
Compensation and Hiring Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field.
Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale.

Class Specific Essential Duties
Monitor compliance with College and Veterans policies and procedures.
Conduct workshops and presentations, as required.
Attend veterans/military outreach and recruitment events to promote CCBC.
Attend CEWD recruitment events.
Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external organizations regarding recruitment of veterans, active military, and their families.
Serve as a point of contact for CEWD programs/events.
Prepare and analyze reports, as requested.
Support student military‑related populations in achieving individual academic goals.
Maintain records and files as required.
Serve on appropriate departmental, division, and college‑wide committees.
Position Specific Essential Duties
Design and implement outreach activities for veterans/active military populations.
Develop and execute targeted outreach for CEWD and short‑term credentialing programs, with emphasis on high‑demand fields.
Assist with the development and implementation of campus and college‑wide recruitment plans.
Establish and maintain working relationships with veterans/military organizations, CEWD leadership, academic program coordinators, and community agencies.
Develop partnerships with community organizations, grants, and service providers to increase access and support for special populations.
Visit military sites and disseminate CCBC recruitment and outreach materials.
Coordinate information sessions, on‑campus recruitment programs, and special events.
Meet with prospective students to discuss pre‑admissions processes and procedures.
Manage follow‑up communications with prospective students via phone, email, instant messaging, and social media.
Represent CCBC at college, education, and career fairs, as well as community and professional events.
Identify, target, and maintain partnerships with relevant stakeholders.
Work independently and collaboratively on special and ongoing projects.
Assist the Assistant Director, Admissions with program development, strategic planning, and monitoring progress toward departmental goals.
