Our client, a leader in the power sports industry, is seeking an experienced HR Coordinator for a 6+ month contract assignment in Rigby, ID. Job Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator will perform HR-related functions. The main duties include assisting with HR processes and activities such as hourly staffing and orientation, employee relations & engagement, policy enforcement, and maintaining personnel records. The role requires confidence and the ability to work independently while partnering with the business to drive results. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Support and lead HR activities, including interviewing and selection, policy enforcement, orientation and training, new hire processes, and employee relations. Facilitate onboarding, including coordinating tours, conducting new hire orientation, and communicating with new hires and leadership. Organize and maintain personnel records in accordance with legal and site-specific policies. Assist with record keeping and documentation on employee relations issues and disciplinary actions. Oversee and supervise employee performance management, focusing on productivity, safety, and quality. Maintain HR systems by processing transactions related to hiring, lateral moves, terminations, and compensation changes. Prepare documentation and communications supporting staffing and HR operations, such as onboarding packets, benefit guides, and recruitment materials. Design and create marketing materials for recruiting and community engagement. Respond to employees' HR-related queries and partner with HR and Operations leaders on employee relations scenarios. Manage payroll and timecard auditing/processing. Participate in projects and initiatives to promote a positive work environment and high employee engagement. Ensure management compliance with federal and state employment laws. Lead continuous improvement efforts in HR to enhance operational efficiency. Represent the company in the community and foster positive community relations. Perform other duties and projects as required. Skills & Knowledge
High school diploma required; HR certification or experience preferred. Sound judgment with the ability to integrate HR practices into business processes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer focus and problem-solving skills. Effective interpersonal, organizational, and planning skills. Ability to collaborate both in person and virtually. Knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with HR software and payroll preferred. Driver's license required. Pay Rate: $22.65 - $24.65/hour About Caren
