POSITION SUMMARY The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) role will support a wide variety of human resources tasks and initiatives for the Kaman Precision Products business. Reporting to the HR Manager, this is a great opportunity for an HR professional to learn, develop and add value to a transforming organization. Responsible for a variety of assigned human resources administration programs or functions. Areas of concentration include recruitment, compensation, performance management, and employee relations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide support for Human Resource functions including, but not limited to employee relations, staffing and talent development, benefits/payroll administration, and employee engagement.

Serve as a point of contact on HR topics, questions and issues for all employees and managers.

Interface effectively with supervisors on their departmental staffing needs and support the new employee onboarding process.

Assist in providing coaching and client support to supervisors on employee relations issues to ensure all employees receive fair and equitable treatment. Ensure that routine and complex employee relations issues are properly identified, reported, investigated and resolved to drive a work environment that is compliant with the Company’s Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.

Coach, advise, counsel, and provide candid constructive feedback to People Leaders.

Maintain all HR systems and files with timely and accurate updates, including facility employee personnel files, I‑9 documentation, continual education support and training records.

Document and track procedures for on‑the‑job training.

Create, implement and deliver training programs for varying levels of individuals, and consult with managers and supervisors to assess training needs and develop matching programs.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.

Requires fluent verbal and written communication skills, good problem‑solving and organizational skills.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited college/university.

Minimum 3 years of human resources work experience (may include internship experience).

WORKING CONDITIONS No travel required. Working conditions generally consist of office and shop floor environments; other than safety glasses, additional personal protective equipment generally not required. Weekend and evening work may be required to accommodate priorities, deadlines, and schedules.
