WSU Tri-Cities GEAR UP is seeking a Student Achievement Specialist for Kamiakin and Southridge High School with a work location in Kennewick, WA. The position involves tutoring, advising and mentoring students, assessing participants' needs, and creating individual action plans. The specialist provides student and academic support services to increase college and career readiness, guides students with college and career exploration, and supports in planning and supervising field trips to college campuses. Position requires a Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one (1) year of professional work experience.
