Job Description You will be a Engineering Aide at Lockheed Martin, turning engineering drawings into high quality electronic and electro‑mechanical assemblies. Our team supports both Engineering and Manufacturing Production, ensuring reliable hardware for critical defense programs.
What You Will Be Doing As an Engineering Aide you will be responsible for building circuit cards, wiring harnesses, then integrating them into single or multi‑bay cabinet units. You will work independently while collaborating closely with Engineers, Draftsmen, Procurement, and Quality Inspectors to keep projects on schedule and on spec.
Your responsibilities will include:
Placing and soldering components on circuit cards and sub assemblies according to blueprints, schematics, and engineering guides.
Fabricating wiring harnesses, including connector pinning, de‑pinning, and installation of mounting hardware.
Assembling lower level builds into complete cabinet assemblies for delivery to Engineering or Production.
Applying MIL STD solder and harness certifications to every task and maintaining compliance.
Communicating design or process issues clearly—both verbally and in writing—to supervisors and engineers.
Using software tools (CAD, ERP, etc.) and Microsoft Office applications to track work orders, update job status, and document quality inspections.
Performing quality checks and ensuring each assembly meets functional and safety requirements.
Managing your workload as a self‑starter while supporting the broader fabrication team’s goals.

Experience interpreting and building to Lockheed Martin Test Equipment engineering.
Self‑starter able to perform tasks with minimal supervision.
