Work Shift:
This position will support the D shift—every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and every other Saturday—from 6pm to 6am, including a 10% shift differential.
Salary Range: $43,100.00 – $64,700.00
Purpose Statement:
The Higher Level Assembly Technician assesses, implements, and maintains manufacturing procedures for intricate assembly processes. As a key technical advocate within the Focus Factory Team, they utilize their skills to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety improvements in Plexus's assembly operations.
Key Job Accountabilities
Develops / executes manufacturing solutions / provides high‑quality, cost‑appropriate services that satisfy customer requirements, establishing an area of technical specialty and applying process improvement or troubleshooting as it applies to their role.
Utilizes appropriate tools to perform necessary work, including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes, or production as it applies to their role.
Demonstrates an intermediate, discipline‑specific understanding of how they support the full Plexus Manufacturing processes, product requirements & specifications, cross‑discipline or supplier coordination, as it applies to their role.
Successfully executes responsibilities independently in accordance with good manufacturing practices and Plexus' manufacturing processes, and provides support to direct production line operators.
Maintains comprehensive understanding of equipment, process control, safety, risk awareness, setup awareness, and operation.
Education/Experience Qualifications
Minimum of an Associate's degree or completion of a Diploma in Electronics, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Science.
Minimum one (1) year of related experience.
Equivalents combining education and experience may be considered.
