Base pay range $52,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain the Development AP inbox.

Process vendor invoices, check and refund requests for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and enter data into the system.

Schedule check runs, process checks; review and distribute checks, and initiate wire and ACH transactions to lenders, vendors, and other entities as required. Manage payment status requests.

Maintain current and accurate cash balances for each entity's bank accounts using Smartsheet, Real Page Accounting System, and collaboration with Development Accountant.

Manage funding requests from properties and projects.

Facilitate posting and billback of credit card transactions, working with developers to obtain accurate information for charges.

Process payment information for 1099s.

Answer phone, email, mail, and walk-in inquiries; research questions; provide information.

Manage entity cash to ensure critical bills such as credit cards, payroll, and fees are paid timely.

Analyze/review vendors' statements for accuracy and resolve discrepancies with development vendors. Check credit balances and request cash refunds on credit balances.

Fill in for employees on the accounting Team, including making bank deposits.

Organize and file appropriate reports and paperwork. Maintain invoice copies for owner reporting and draw requests.

Assist Accounting Manager and Development Accountant in the preparation of any daily and weekly reports, communications, etc.

Perform any additional duties assigned by the Accounting Manager.

Work on special projects as needed.
