Job Summary We are looking for a full-time Assistant Cook to join our team at Pathway Family Services. All you need is a High School Diploma or GED, be at least 21 years old, and possess a valid driver’s license. The role involves preparing, cooking, organizing, cleaning, and serving meals to children and youth in a residential setting.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook nutritious meals for 3 meals a day in a kitchen and cafeteria environment.
Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and ensure food safety standards are met.
Communicate respectfully with children and adults, working both independently and as part of a team.
Adhere to nutritional guidelines for children up to 18 years of age.
Assist in inventory and food preparation tasks as needed.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum age of 21 years.
Knowledge of children’s nutritional needs.
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency underwriting standards if required for transport.
Positive attitude, reliability, and strong interpersonal communication skills.
