Job Summary The Organizational Development Lead – SAP S/4HANA Transformation is the primary global subject‑matter expert for leadership, learning, capability building, and workforce readiness throughout Terumo BCT’s SAP S/4HANA transformation. Embedded within the S/4HANA program, the role partners with HR, IT, Global Process Owners, Change Management, Training, and system integrators to prepare leaders and associates for new processes, technologies, and ways of working. The position blends OD expertise with transformation enablement, driving design, testing, deployment, and sustainment of global learning and capability solutions that support successful system adoption and long‑term performance.

Essential Duties

Program & Process Leadership

Represent the OD function in global design sessions; embed leadership capability, onboarding, learning, and readiness requirements in future‑state processes.

Define OD‑related business requirements, including role‑based learning pathways, capability expectations, and reporting needs.

Partner with HR, IT, and system integrators to align, document, and validate OD requirements throughout the build lifecycle.

Global Learning & Capability Enablement

Co‑create an integrated learning and capability‑building strategy with Change Management and Training workstreams.

Lead development of global learning solutions: facilitator guides, e‑learning, simulations, job aids, role‑based pathways, and performance support tools.

Integrate S/4‑related learning with ongoing leadership, development, and onboarding programs led by the OD function.

Support continuous improvement cycles and capability refresh mechanisms to sustain post‑go‑live excellence.

Readiness, Testing & Deployment

Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate role and capability requirements in the system.

Contribute to data validation, security role mapping, and learning pathway mapping.

Support execution of global deployment plans so all impacted associates receive timely and relevant training prior to go‑live.

Change Management Partnership

Serve as the OD liaison to the Change Management workstream, ensuring communication, stakeholder engagement, leader enablement, and workforce readiness reflect OD principles.

Support readiness assessments, adoption metrics, and capability gap analysis; recommend targeted interventions based on data.

Contribute to onboarding and assimilation programs aligned to the S/4 future‑state environment.

Stakeholder Influence & Enterprise Collaboration

Influence leaders, HRBPs, analytics, functional SMEs, and project teams to align on capability expectations and readiness outcomes.

Operate effectively in a complex, ambiguous, and dynamic project environment.

Provide regular updates to program leadership regarding OD risks, capability insights, mitigation strategies, and workforce readiness.

Post‑Go‑Live Sustainment & Continuous Improvement

Partner with OD, HRBPs, and program teams to transition learning ownership back to the enterprise after stabilization.

Embed continuous improvement cycles to ensure learning, capability, and leadership programs evolve with organizational needs.

Support integration of new processes into long‑term OD strategies, systems, and development programs.

Minimum Qualifications Education Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline, Organizational Development, or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions.

Experience • 7–9 years in Organizational Development, Leadership Development, Talent Management, or Learning. • Experience designing and deploying large‑scale capability or leadership programs in a complex or global organization. • Prior involvement in enterprise transformation efforts; S/4HANA or major system implementation experience strongly preferred. • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and partner cross‑functionally. • Proven analytical capability to measure program impact and inform decisions.

Skills • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder management. • Ability to influence without authority and navigate ambiguity. • Deep understanding of adult learning principles and global learning deployment. • Strong project management and prioritization skills in a fast‑paced environment. • Executive presence and exceptional communication skills. • High learning agility and continuous improvement mindset. • Comfortable operating within integrated project teams alongside external partners. ECC6 to S4 HANA experience required.

Certificates Change management certification is a plus or equivalent certification preferred.

Physical Requirements Typical office environment: reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, moving, bending, sitting, occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.

Additional Requirements • Full‑time commitment to the multi‑year S/4HANA transformation. • Up to 5–10% global travel may be required. • Position is on‑site in Lakewood, Colorado.

Target Pay Range $111,800.00 to $139,800.00 – Salary to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, and market data.

Target Bonus on Base 7.0%
