HR Generalist | Holt, MI
Salary Range:
$53,000 - $80,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruitment for production, technical, and administrative roles.
Handle employee relations issues, grievances, and disciplinary actions.
Ensure compliance with HR policies, labor laws, and manufacturing safety regulations.
Support performance management processes, including reviews and corrective actions.
Coordinate and deliver training programs relevant to manufacturing operations.
Administer compensation, benefits, and leave management for site employees.
Partner with operations on safety initiatives and manage workers' compensation claims.
Recommended Qualifications
Direct experience as an HR Generalist in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws, OSHA regulations, and HR best practices.
Proven ability in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management for a diverse workforce.
Experience with full-cycle recruitment for production, skilled trades, and operational roles.
Proficiency with HRIS systems and data analysis, including metrics relevant to manufacturing (e.g., safety, attendance, turnover).
Bonus Qualifications
Experience supporting a unionized workforce.
Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish) to support a diverse workforce.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
OSHA 10 or 30-hour certification.
