Job Overview
Assessor for solder and conformal coating inspection on circuit board assemblies, following IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 standards.

Responsibilities
Use predetermined methods, inspection operations, and prescribed specifications to visually inspect solder and conformal coating on circuit card assemblies IAW IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001 requirements.
Interpret instructions, drawings, and checklists, and use measuring devices such as dial indicators, preset micrometers, and scales to verify compliance with manufacturing and industry specifications.
Document findings, identify nonconformities, and communicate quality defects to all levels of manufacturing in a professional manner.
Maintain knowledge of IPC manuals, revision control, and reference documents.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years experience inspecting solder connections on surface‑mount and plated‑through‑hole components, as well as conformal coating of PCBs per IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001.
Detail oriented, quality focused, and proficient at interpreting drawings, diagrams, and IPC manuals.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; a team player.
Proficient with personal computers.
Ability to interface and communicate effectively with all manufacturing levels when addressing quality defects.
Prior IPC-610 and J-STD experience as detailed in the resume.
Strong manufacturing soldering experience if soldering inspection experience is lacking.
Work Hours 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM, Monday – Thursday with overtime on weekends.
