What Your Experience Looks like as a Primrose Teacher:

Curriculum provided - With clear daily plans, necessary resources, and support so you can focus your time in the classroom on forming connections with the children—and spend your time outside of school focused on yourself.

Carefully paired co‑teacher who complements your teaching style.

Assigned Support Teacher in your classroom who covers your break and planning time daily.

Fully stocked classroom, all materials provided by the school.

Dedicated Education Coach to help you develop your skills and thrive in your role.

Qualifications:

MUST have 12 core Early Childhood Education units with a grade of C or better required. (Child development, Child‑family‑community, two Curriculum classes)

Must have patience and a strong desire to love and nurture young children

Work experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred

Must meet required state background check

Must be able to work on an iPad to enter children’s daily logs and write incident reports and messages to parents.

Responsibilities:

Engage, interact, and supervise children in positive ways to support their growth and learning

Provides a safe, attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages creativity, exploration, and decision‑making by the children

Plan with the Education Coach and implement the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule using the Primrose School curriculum outlines and materials

Supervise, monitor and complete continual evaluation of each child’s developmental needs

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and childcare regulations.

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s development and classroom activities.

Pay based on experience. We may have other teaching opportunities in our Infant Toddler, Two's, and Pre‑K programs.
