We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Payroll Lead to join our client in the data center industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional who has a deep understanding of payroll processes and systems, and a passion for providing excellent service to employees. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Job Details
Lead and manage the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees.
Oversee the preparation, balancing, and distribution of payroll in accordance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
Manage the payroll tax function, including compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and filing local, state, and federal payroll tax returns.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all payroll-related inquiries, providing excellent service to employees and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Implement and maintain payroll best practices to improve efficiency and provide superior service to employees.
Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll data with other systems.
Manage payroll system updates, upgrades, and maintenance, and ensure accurate data entry and processing.
Prepare and present payroll reports and analytics to senior management.
Lead and participate in payroll-related projects and initiatives.
Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations and ensure company compliance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in the Energy industry.
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of payroll processes, systems, and tax regulations.
Experience with HRIS systems, preferably Paylocity.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
