Retirement Plan Support Specialist-TPA/DPS
Pay Range: $19.45 - $25.93
Responsibilities
30% Prepare trust accountings, reconcile financial data, and import data.
25% Publish Form 5500 for client signature, manage 8955-SSA, Form 1099R, 5558, and assist in Form 5330 preparation.
20% Coordinate annual compliance needs, including employee census file generation, data import, and review.
20% Administrative processing of distributions, hardships, loans, etc.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Associate degree with one year related experience, or equivalent education/experience.
Skills and Abilities:
Read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals.
Write routine reports and correspondence.
Communicate effectively with internal and external contacts.
Prepare Excel spreadsheets, reconcile numbers, and analyze financial data using fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
Solve practical problems with limited standardization.
Interpret various instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Access) and ability to develop application software skills within a reasonable time as determined by the Manager.
Physical Requirements
Communicate effectively with internal and/or external customers.
Stationary 75% of time or greater.
Move objects up to 10 lbs.
